Instructions for use of ProCat-Cat registry

Register

When you register to ProCat-cat registry, you'll get all the services ProCat -cat registry offers (which are described in the instructions) and you can also define the language and date format which you want to use in ProCat-registry. These settings are used always when you login to ProCat-cat registry.

• I have as far as possible aspired to checked that the information I am going to add to the registry is genuine and correct, and I try to keep the information I have added to the registry up to date.
• I try to ensure that I don't repeat the same information unnesessarily. I check before adding a litter / cat that it is not already in the registry.
• I accept that any other user may contact me when he/she has different or more information of the cat to which information I have change permission.
• I accept that my username (contact information) can be connected to other cat registry information.

You can register to ProCat by clicking "Register" link in top of the page. Name and email address are the only required information with username and password (given twice), but you can also define other contact information - which are available whenever your name is shown in the pages - in breeder information and in all cats you have added to the registry or when you are added as an owner etc. to the cat.

With the username you can login to ProCat -cat registry. Password is only seen and known to you. Email address is needed in different situations - for example if you don't remember your password, you can always ask a new password which is send to the email address you have given to your information. You can also define post address, telephone & fax number and your homepage address.

You can define the language you want to use in ProCat-registry. Whenever you login, the language is changed to the language you have defined to your information - you don't have to change language - just login - if you have come to the pages with some other language. After login also dates are shown in the pages with the date format you have chosen.

When you have given all the information, register to ProCat by clicking "Register" button. After that you can login to ProCat with the username and password you defined to your information.

You can change your personal information always after login by clicking "Own Personal information" link in top of the page. Also password can be changed in Personal information page.

If you have forgotten your password, you can get a new password by clicking "I forgot my password?" -link in Login page. A new password is sent to the email address which you have defined to your information and which you'll have to give also to request for a new password. You can login with the new password to ProCat after that and change your password to easier to remember after login in your personal information.
