You can plan future litters for many generations forward easily with planning kittens. Inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient is calculated when you save a new planning kitten with parent information and see the pedigree of the planned litter, compare parents' pedigrees or check the occurences of properties in the pedigree of the planning kitten.
Parents of the planning kitten may be any cat found in the registry or any of the planning kittens you have added - it gives you possibility to make plans for many generations.
Planning kittens are available for you as long as you want - planning kittens are saved to the database and so available also in the next time you login to ProCat-registry. When you don't need the planning kitten anymore you can delete it - if it is not a parent to any other planning kitten of yours.
When you select "Own planning kittens" function from the top of the any page, you'll get the list of your planning kittens. You can add new planning kittens by clicking "Add a new planning kitten" link in the end of the page or take a look or change any of the planning kittens you have saved earlier by clicking the name of a planning kitten.

You can add a new planning kitten by clicking "Add a new planning kitten" link. A page where you can give a name which describes you for what reason you are going to add the cat and select parents for the planning kitten. You can select any cat in the registry as a parent with "Choose sire" and "Choose dam" links. Cats-page is opened and you can search any cat with various search criteria (see also Search cats). But you can also select any of your own planning kittens from the lists for sire and dam. Save planning kitten with "Save"-button - also Enter key saves the information. When the cat is saved, also inbreeding coefficient to 6 generations and ancestor loss coefficient to 10 generations is calculated and saved to the planning kitten information. Select a planning kitten you want to check or change by clicking name of the planning cat in the Own planning kittens list. You'll see information of the planning kitten and functions with which you can see pedigrees, compare parents and see the existence of different properties in the pedigree. You can also delete a cat if there is a "Delete" link in the cat information - it is available if the cat is not a parent to any other planning kitten of yours.Add a new planning kitten
