 | Open pedigree for a cat. By default a pedigree of 4 generations will be opened. You can open pedigree for every cat in the pedigree and that way information of whole ancestors is available for you. The pedigree contains as many generations as the pedigree from which the pedigree was selected. Icon is used also in front of function "Occurence of properties in the pedigree". | |
 | Full information of a cat: Besides basic information it is possible to add photos, show results, several register numbers and microchip numbers, information of caretaking actions or test results or other properties. Also person information (breeder, owner, person the cat lives with) is possible to add. All cats' offspring is listed in the end of the page. Full information of cat offers also variety of comparing and calculation functions to gain even more advantage of using cat registry information.
In contact to breeder you get full breeder information, and in contact with person you get person's contact information. | |

Also inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient is calculated to offspring of the compared cats. | |
 | Compare parents' pedigrees / calculation of cat's inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient: Comparing and calculation of inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient is done by default to 6 generations but you can select also comparing to 8 or 10 generations. As a result you get a list of cats which exist in both parents' pedigrees and inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient to their offspring. You can select calculation of ancestor loss coefficient to 10 generations also separately | |

| | Click "Login" ("Connexion" in French, "Anmelden" in Germany and "Kirjaudu" in Finnish) in top of page. Give your username and password and click "Login" ("Anmelden" or "Kirjaudu") button. If you have defined a language to your personal information, you get ProCat-cat registry with selected language - even if you come to ProCat-registry with some other language. |
| | Forgot your password? You can always ask new password by clicking "Forgot your password?" link. A new password is sent to email address you have given to your personal information and also to the request - naturally you'll have to give also your username - after clicking "Send" button. You can login with this new password to ProCat-cat registry and then change your password in your personal information after login. |

Own information | |
| | In Own information you can - if you want - to inform your contact information, change your password and define personal configuration settings which will be used whenever you login to ProCat-cat registry. With Personal configurations you may select the language you want to use registry, suitable date format and breeds you are interested in. The breeds which you select to your personal information are used to limit cats in searches. You can also select multiple breeds. |
Own favourites | |
| | List of cats you have selected as own favourites which makes it easier to find the cats you search often - for example your own cats which information you change often (show results etc.). You can add any cat to your favourites (link to add to own favourites is found in "Full information of cat" and "Add or change cat information" pages) and remove it from your favourites list whenever you want in Own favourites-page. |

| | Planning your future litters is now easier than ever - you can plan your litters for many generations and calculate inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient, check pedigrees and occurences of properties in the pedigree and compare parents' pedigrees of your planned litters. If you change parents of the planning kitten you can see the effect to the offspring also straight away. |
Own usergroups | |
| | You can manage who will see the property and caretaking information you have added to cat information more easily - naturally you can also manage to whom you give edit rights to individual cats. Especially usergroups give possibilities for clubs or breeders who co-operate together. With usergroups you can offer to members of the club or to the breeders who work together more information of cats - even that information which you don't want to publish openly! |
| | Management of your usergroups is easy - just add usergroup in cat information and when you add a new user to your usergroup or delete a user from the usergroup, changes are notified in every cat information at once. You can define many usergroups if needed. |
Management of cat information | |
| | ProCat-cat registry offers almost unlimited possibilities to add information to the cat - contact Administrator of ProCat-cat registry if you would like to use a missing option for properties or caretaking actions or any other selecion options. You can add photos, show results, several identification informations (register numbers, microchip numbers etc.), unlimited number of properties and caretaking actions to any cat and also add remark text in addition to basic information of the cat. Pedigrees and list of offspring is generated according to litter intormation. Litter information is used also to calculate inbreeding and ancestor loss coefficient. You can compare pedigrees of any 2 cats and plan future litters with the information - and once added to the registry, the information is available to all registered users and visitors of ProCat-cat registry! |

| | All registered users can add missing parents or birthdate to any cat - also to cats to which user doesn't have edit rights - if the cat is not linked to any litter information (information of parents and birthdate is missing).

Litter information and adding a cat to a litter | |
| | Information of cat has 2 sections: Information which concerns the specified cat only (left pane) and information common for all the cats born in the same litter (right pane). The following information is common to the litter: parents, mating date, birthdate, breeder, original country = country where the litter is born and other remarks. You can also add property information for the litter - for example cause of death for those kittens which were born death or died before registering. The information is linked to the litter only when you click "Add a new property to combination" -link. |
| | Adding cat information is more easier if it is added to the litter as the cat already has information of parents and birthdate when the cat is added to the litter. Function is important also when cats which birthdate or both parents are not known but cats which are born in the same litter are known. ProCat-cat registry application links cats to the litter if the litter which parents and birthdate are the same as given to the cat but if birthdate is not given, a new litter information is added for every cat with the same parents. |

Breeder information | |
| | ProCat-cat registry is also a Breeder registry. You can add your breeder information to the registry and add your contact information by breeder information to the kittens on sale. Click "Add breeder" link on the top of any page (a new breeder can be added also via litter information) - later you can change breeder information by opening breeder information and clicking "Change breeder information" link in the breeder information page if you have added the breeder information yourself. |
